Entry & Court Layout:

Membership Cost 

• Quarterly (3-month) membership: $150 USD per group, per member

• Fees are collected every quarter. 

• Rates are subject to change for future quarters. 

Membership includes: 

• Court fees 

• High-altitude feather birdies (plastic birdies are not used) 

• Nets 

• Painter’s tape for court markings (played on pickleball/basketball courts)

Note: Days and times may change for future quarters based on court availability. Generally, each group plays 2 hours per week between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM. 

Joining the Club

• We will add you the community groups below based on interest and availability.

Community has 6 WhatsApp groups available: Parker Badminton Club (1 Master Group open for all groups & Interested Members), 

   5 Members Only Groups: PBC Monday Members, PBC Tuesday Members, PBC Wednesday Members, PBC Thursday Members, PBC Sunday Members. 

• Separate memberships are required for each group ($150 per group, per member, per quarter). 

• Quarterly membership if you choose to join 2 groups: $300 USD (per member, per quarter). 

Cross-Group Play 

• Members from one group cannot automatically play in another group. 

• Options to play with the other group: 

1. Join the second group by paying an additional $150 per quarter, per member. 

2. Play ad-hoc, subject to availability: 

• Members: $15 USD per session (Active membership for current month needed)

• Non-members: $20 USD per session 

Membership Transfers 

• Transfers are allowed only for full calendar months

• Daily or partial-month transfers are not permitted. 

• Members must coordinate directly with recipients and inform the club via WhatsApp group after completion. The club does not facilitate transfers. 

Max Player Per Session 

• We cap the total number of players in a session based on number of courts available [4 players per court*no of courts available + one extra player per court accounting for players taking breaks, rotation etc,]. For 8 courts we allow a maximum of 40 players. 

Ad-hoc Play 

• Ad-hoc participation requires responding to a poll shared the day before play. 

• Spots are allocated based on response order and availability

Example1: If max players for current session are 40, member poll shows 36 members will join, we will allow up-to 4 ad-hoc players to join hitting max cap of 40 players. 

Example2: If max players for current session are 40, member poll shows 40 members will join, we do not allow any ad-hoc players as max cap for the session is already reached. 

• Participants must receive confirmation and have a signed waiver. 

• If responding for others, specify each participant clearly. 

Ad-hoc Fees: 

• Non-members: $20 USD per day

• Members (playing in the other group): $15 USD per day (Active membership for current month needed)

Note: Unannounced attendance is not permitted. 

Ad-hoc Attendance/No-Show: 

If you claim an ad-hoc spot and receive confirmation to join based on availability:

• Cancel no later than 2Hours before the game start time. Notify the organizers by text or in the group chat so the next person on the waitlist has a chance to play.

• No-shows pay the full adhoc fees. Failure to attend without timely notice still incurs the session charge, preserving fairness for participants who are waiting.

Membership Trial

• You can come in as Ad-hoc for one session (20$) and if you decide to take quarterly membership you can apply the Ad-hoc fees as membership credit (Your Quarterly membership will be 130$ after adjustment).  

Membership Eligibility 

• Open to men and women aged 18 and older

• Players under 18 are currently not allowed (We will explore kids/youth program in future). 

Membership Waitlist 

• No advance reservations if groups are full. 

• You can request to be added to our “Interest List” for future consideration

• Priority is based on seniority of association with the club. 

• Interested individuals will be notified when spots open. 

Mandatory Waiver 

• All players must complete and sign the waiver annually (for each calendar year).

Equipment and Court Setup 

• Nets, Painters Tapes, Practice Birds (For Warmup) and Backup Birds (Not Humidified) are stored in end of the court storage room. Front reception team will open the storage when requested during club hours.

 

• Representatives will bring humidified birdies for the session (Non humidified birds will break very quickly due to dry high-altitude weather). 

• Courts are pickleball-sized with painter’s tape marking accurate badminton boundaries. 

• Custom badminton nets (equipped with tracking devices) are provided. 

Refund Policy 

• No refunds available. 

• Members unable to attend can swap membership for the entire month with another interested party. 

Court Setup & Cleanup 

• Members arriving first will set up nets and court markings. 

• Members leaving last will remove nets, tape, and dispose of used birdies. Unused birdies, unused tapes, and nets should be returned to parker badminton club storage room. 

Net Assembly Instructions: 

• Poles 4,5 (end poles), pole 8 (center), curved pole 2 (starting point); remaining parts in any order. 

Rotation System 

• When Limited Courts are available: Racquet stacking rotation for next players waiting for next available court. 

• When all courts are available: After each game, mix and match with available players.

Parker Badminton Club – Player Code of Ethics (Quick Reference) 


Respect Everyone:

Treat partners, opponents, officials, volunteers, and facility staff with courtesy. No harassment, bullying, or discriminatory language.


Play Fair:

Follow all game rules and line-call etiquette. No cheating, sandbagging, or equipment tampering.


Prioritize Safety:

Warm up, use proper footwear, and keep courts clear of hazards. Stop play immediately when someone is hurt, notify organizers and facility staff.


Show Good Sportsmanship:

Celebrate wins humbly and accept losses gracefully. No racquet-throwing or verbal outbursts or similar behavior.


Look After the Facility & Gear:

Return shuttles & equipment to storage, pick up trash, and report damage. Do not adjust court settings without permission.


Be Punctual & Communicative:

Honor Adhoc sign-ups, and notify organizers at least 2 hours in advance of game start time if you must cancel (Adhoc). Members please register your votes by 2PM MST on the game day so we can better plan the game(members);We try our best to always accommodate members last minute plans, this is a members request not a mandate.


Support a Positive Club Culture:

Encourage new players, share courts fairly, and give constructive feedback.

If the Ethics Code Is Violated:

 

Organizers will decide the response according to the severity and pattern of the offense:
1. Verbal Reminder – Friendly clarification of the expected behavior.
2. Written Warning – Formal notice recorded in club files.
3. Match or Session Suspension – Temporary ban (one or more sessions).
4. Probationary Membership – Return under specific conditions (e.g., behavior monitoring, service fee).
5. Membership Termination – Permanent removal from the club and forfeiture of any fees.

Note: Organizers may skip steps or involve all parties in mediation if a violation poses immediate safety risks, constitutes harassment/discrimination, or damages club property. Organizers Decisions are final.
 

By participating in Parker Badminton Club activities, every player acknowledges and agrees to this Code of Ethics and the disciplinary framework above.
